Havas & Timár is a tiny winery in Eger, with big ideas. Cabernet Franc is not traditionally produced as a single varietal in the Eger region—that is usually left for the guys down south in Villány to do. In Eger Cabernet Franc is usually used as part of the blend for Bull’s Blood, the traditional red blend in the region. Havas & Timár made a wise decision when they decided to ignore the local traditions and let this beautiful Cabernet Franc shine on its own. The result is a silky and elegant wine, with a cool climate finesse. This incredible bottle of wine has bold plum and blackcurrant flavors, and is incredibly unique and enjoyable.
